The 2.0 video was aMAZing! Very inspirational. There were, however, a few references to "teaching the machine" that gave me The Matrix flashbacks.
When I logged on to MySpace to look up OCLS, I found a comment on my page left by an old friend from high school. The potential for connections on the web is astounding--instantly I've reconnected with someone I haven't seen in over a decade.

Continuing Education

Patrons Make My Day
Patrons are the most wonderful and frustrating part of working in the library. I love the small kids who are so excited to be visiting "the li-bary!" And I have to smile at the older man who announces that he owes us $12,000 in fines. When I check his account, his balance is $6.20.
